Go downstairs and talk to Ellone. Exit the house, head left to the Pub next door and talk to Kiros. Leave and go down the stairs at the bottom right of the area to find a Draw Point (Dispel). Head downward until you reach a Draw Point (Drain) on the right. Go right to find a truck and a Draw Point (Reflect). Go down the slope to the bottom most part of the town. There's an item shop at the bottom left (use all 3,000 Gil since it's the past money and you'll retain these items in the present). Head straight upward and return to the pub. Go upstairs and talk to Raine then return to the vacant house. Save game and examine the bed.

Jailbreak
Descend to Floor 1 to get Combat King 001 then go up to the Floor 13 to find Squall. Talk to the Moombas to create shortcuts ie. Remove the barriers next to the stairs. Exit the room. Examine the control panel. Go to the end of the path and open the door.
As Zell, run clockwise around. Organize your parties. Take Squall and Rinoa's party up to Floor 13. Lead Irvine's party down to Floor 3. Talk to the Moomba to receive an item. Ascend the stairs to Floor 14. Continue upward and up the next set of stairs to reach the control room (Floor 15). Exit through the bottom right to battle a boss.

Drive Selphie's team west to the Missile Base. Go left, enter the building and examine the flashing blue light. Enter the left door. Head right, past the guard at the Circuit Room. Once you're down the stairs, head downward to a Draw Point (Blind) and two soldiers on the right. Talk to them then go back up and enter the top door to the missile launchers. Talk to the soldier examining the launcher then return to the soldiers down the bottom. Return left to the circuit room. Get Selphie to 'press whatever' by selecting the top option otherwise you'll have to manually bash the controls.
Method 1
Drop disguise - When you exit select "What the heck! Let's fight", go all the way right and ascend the stairs to the control room. Fight two Base Soldiers and the Base Leader. Examine the computer on the left then examine the computers on the top and right. Go upward into the next room and examine the left computer to find the self-destruct.
Set the timer to 20 minutes then go through the door on the right to exit to the first area where you entered the building. Return to the door to the missile launcher room. Talk to the wounded guard at the stairs to get an ID card. Access the control panel on the right of the door and enter the password. Choose 'Target', 'Set Error Ratio' to maximum, 'Data Upload' - Yes.
Method 2
Keep up your disguise by choosing "Talk my way out". Return right, enter the missile launcher room and choose "Play it cool" and "Help out". Help move the missiles. Talk to the soldier, exit the room and access the control panel on the right. Select 'Target', 'Set Error Ratio' to maximum, 'Data Upload' yes. Go right to the control room and fight the base soldiers. Examine the three computers then go up into the next room and examine the computer on the left. Set the timer to 20 minutes and go through the door on the right.
Exit the building and head right. [FMV]. Continue right to fight a boss.

Squall's party returns to Balamb Garden. You'll encounter random fights. Head into the Garden and you'll meet a Garden Faculty - choose the second option. Meet Raijin and Fujin at the lobby. You must confront the Garden Faculties at each location in the Garden and defeat their summoned monsters:
MD Level - Balamb Garden Takes Flight
Go to the lobby to find Xu. Follow her to the upper end of the 2F hallway then go up to the 3F to find Cid. After the briefing, talk to him to Save Game then go to the elevator. When it stops, examine the controls then examine the hatch on the floor and climb down the ladder. Go downward and examine the large hatch. Go right, climb down the ladder and enter the door. Examine the large wheel and press [A] repeatedly to open the valve. Exit and descend the ladder. Go down the staircase to a Draw Point (Full-Life). Head upward and climb the ladder. Examine the controls on the right then climb back down the ladder. Examine flashing green light at the bottom left and continue down. Activate the lever near the Save Point then go upward to fight a boss.

Go through the gate and go down the ladder. [FMV]. Head left and examine the middle-right side of the control panel. [FMV]. Talk to Cid then go to the upper end of the 2F hallway and through the top door to the Deck. [*FMV*] (Special if Rinoa is in your party). Exit and meet Xu. [FMV].
The Garden Master
Back at the dormitory save game, take Rinoa for a tour of the Garden if you like, then go to the lobby and take the elevator down. Talk to Cid and head left to meet the garden master. Fight the boss.

Exit the Dormitory. [FMV]. Challenge Cid for the Seifer Card. Leave the Garden through the 2F Deck and head right. Before you reach the lift into the city, climb down the long ladder that runs down the back wall and head left, climbing two more small ladders, to meet the Master Fisherman. Talk to him and choose the first option to get Occult Fan III. Return up and continue right. Head upward to the mayor's house, go up the stairs and talk to the mayor and his wife. Challenge Mayor Dobe for the Quezacotl card. Leave the house, return to the top of the bowl and go right. At the next area after the Save Point there's a wooden walkway on the right, which leads to the docks and a Junk Shop. Return to the main road and go upward to find the mayor and an Elite Soldier. Engage the Galbadian Soldiers then fight the boss.

Talk to Rinoa. Upward is a derelict train station with a Draw Point (Haste). Enter the house on the right to get a Timber Maniacs. Go downward to the docks. Talk to the boy on the boat and keep selecting the first option. Head back to the elevator and Irvine will join you at the top.
Optional - Meeting the Master Fisherman
Return to the Master Fisherman and talk to him. Return to the Grease Monkey's House and talk to the Elite Soldier. Exit and re-enter the house and you'll get a Mega Phoenix. Go to the inn and upstairs. Talk to the Master Fisherman and select "Why not...?". Pick up the Timber Maniacs issue. Exit and go right. Talk to the Master Fisherman and answer: "I think you are right." and "No. It's all right" to receive a Megalixir.
The Concert for Squall
Return to Balamb Garden. The Master Fisherman's fishing spot now has a Draw Point (Full-life). Go to the Quad to find Selphie. When it's time to organize the concert, you must select four out of the eight instruments to compose a choice of two scores. Before finalizing the set up, take Irvine to the Grease Monkey's house and talk to the Elite Soldier. Exit and re-enter the house. Talk to Grease Monkey to receive a Phoenix Down. Talk to the soldier to get 5x Fast Ammo, 5x AP Ammo and 5x Pulse Ammo. Return to the front of the Mayor's House. Choose the following instruments for the performance of your choice.
Ballet (Eyes on Me - Jazzy Blues version): Saxophone, Electric Guitar, Piano and Bass Guitar
Folk Tune: Guitar, Violin, Flute and Tap
Once you've set up the instruments, it's back to Squall. Leave the dormitory and talk to Rinoa. At the area overlooking the bowl, talk to Irvine and go to the mayor's house. Head right or change the camera view and head left. Inspect the magazine to initiate a dialogue with Rinoa. The next morning go to the bridge and talk to Nida. Reorganize your party and you'll be in control of the Garden on the World Map.
*Zell's quest: Head to the library with Zell in your party and approach the counter (there's no one there). The Library girl's friends will appear and ask Zell some questions.

Go to the harbor dock, talk to the dog and follow it to the train station. Go to the hotel to battle.

Travel directly northeast to Trabia Garden. Follow Selphie into the Garden. At the fountain, grab Weapons Monthly August from the bottom right of the area. Go up right to the cemetery, get the Timber Maniacs issue and return to the fountain. Head left to the garage and go right to the classroom with a Save Point. Examine the monitor in the top right. Go back to the cemetery then return to the garage and go left to the basketball court. Talk to everyone then go right. Enter the left room, talk to young Squall then head upward to the beach. Talk to all the children and go through the door. Talk to Irvine, Quistis then Selphie. Talk to Rinoa and form a new team. Back to the World Map.
*Zell's quest: Head to the library with Zell in party and go upward to the shelves with the Draw Point.
Re-enter the garden to challenge Selphie's friend at the fountain for the Selphie card.

Galbadia Garden is at the forest north of Edea's house. Head northwest (the world is round remember!) and approach G-Garden. Select the commands: 'Prepare for the attack', 'Prepare our defense', 'Take care of the junior classmen' and 'No Orders/End'. Go down, talk to Quistis and reorganise your party. Head to the Quad. [FMV]. The Save Point at the lobby has been relocated to the entrance of the Infirmary. Talk to Zell then Rinoa and return to the bridge. [FMV]. As Zell's party head left. [*FMV*]. Go to the front gate and reorganize your party. Go to the 2F classroom. [FMV]. Fight the four Galbadian Paratroopers. Talk to the SeeD with the two junior classmen on the right. Go to the bridge. [FMV]. Head to the upper 2F hallway and talk to the boy. Examine the door behind you and choose 'look around for another option' and 'press the button for the emergency exit'.
Mini game - Alternate between attack and block. Punch the soldier as he comes out of a block. Watch his movement and block when he is about to attack. You can sneak in a blow just before he strikes to stop him. If you block successive attacks you can execute a Death Blow by pressing [D]. [*FMV*]. Head left to the back entrance of Galbadia Garden. Enter and reorganize your party.
Inside Galbadia Garden
Head right from the Save Point, go right again and ascend the stairs. On the 2F talk to Fujin and Raijin then go left. Enter the room on the right and talk to the cadet to get the first card key. Backtrack to the Save Point.
Head left and enter the door on the left. Go across the ice rink and enter the door on the right. Head right and talk to the cadet to get card key 2. Exit and keep going downward to return to the Save Point.
Head right to the staircase where you met Raijin and Fujin and go up to the 3F. Go through the door, jump down onto the Athletic track and head left. Go downward to the main hall with GF Cerberus in the middle. Use the Save Point beyond and engage Cerberus.
