FF8 Boss Help by CB and GE.

Most of the First Disk bosses
The first boss is Ifrit.Always have someone casting Shiva and the other person using ice magic.Cure when you have to and never use fire magic unless you want to cure Ifrit.
Boss – Ifrit
Level – 6 .HP – 1058
Draw – Fire, cure, scan
Notes – weak against ice, absorbs fire
Strategy - : Summon GF Shiva and use Boost. Draw and use Cure when needed
The next few bosses you will encounter on your SeeD mission to Dollet City
Boss – Ananconduar
LV – 8. HP – 1248
NOTES – weak against ice, strong against fire.absorbs poison.
Strategy: Its attack can cause Poison status. Use an Antidote or Remedy to cure the status change. Summon GF Shiva with boost and finish with normal attacks.
BIGGS AND WEDGE
These 2 guys are easy.Just use GF's and evuntaully they will get blown a way.Also dont forget to draw from them a little.You will need it for next battle.
Boss – Biggs and Wedge
Biggs-LV – 10. HP – 705
Wedge – L– 10. HP – 640
Notes – Poison has no effect
Strategy: First you face Biggs alone. Cast Blind on him and stock up on Esuna. Wedge will join him soon after. Use normal attacks. Focus your attacks on Biggs – once you defeat one of them, both will be blown away. Alternatively, you can quickly dispense them both with a few GF summonings
Elvoret
Some of you might think it is easy but it took me a while to beat it.Anyways this monster will undoubtfully damage you a lot but this will let you use your limit breaks so use them whenever possible.Take advantage of Selphie's Limit Break because some spells only she can use(THE END for instance)If you do her limit and THE END comes up use it.It instantly lets you win the battle.Well if full cure comes up and you are weak use that.Well this monster has an attack that can almost kill you immediately cure yourself after this attack.Also always use GF.Oh yeah draw GF Siren from it cause it is the only time you can get it.Always use GF,Limits and of course cure yourself.Once that battle is over go down the elevator and something will be wating for you outside
Boss – Elvoret
Lv : 11, HP : 3523
Notes: Weak against Wind. Poison has no effect
Win: 2x Elixir, 2x Cottage, 3x G-Returner, Weapons Mon Mar, 18 AP
Strategy: Draw GF Siren, cast Blind and stock up on Double. Limit Breaks are a killer since it has very low Defense. Execute Limit Breaks when you drop to critical HP then use Selphie’s Limit Break to cast Full-Cure
X-ATM092 (Black Widow)
This guy can be killed.(I heard a rumour it can be killed on the bridge but I never even bothered to try it)Anyways summon Quezquatol and just use lightning magic and limits.Once Zell says"Lets get out of here"Run a way and continue down the path.If your lucky you can totally avoid it the rest of the way.Well when you run into it just use lightening magic and summon GF Quezquatol.Also use limits and cure your self when you have to.
Boss – X-ATM092 (Black Widow)
Level: 11, HP: 5,872
Draw: Fire, Blizzard, Cure, Protect
Notes: Weak against Thunder. Poison has no effect
Win: 50 AP – each time you fully deplete its HP.
Strategy: Junction Thunder to Squall’s Elem-Atk and junction another magic to his Str stat. Keep Squall in critical HP and unleash Renzokuken. Junction Quezacotl to Zell or Selphie and summon with boost. Maintain Squall’s HP at maximum critical. If you fully KO the boss’s HP, Zell will say “Huh, is it repairing itself!?” You must then damage it again to escape. You cannot destroy X-ATM092 in this battle – you must escape. It can be destroyed at the bridge. It will still repair itself but persistence will prevail. If you destroy X-ATM092, you’ll encounter random battles on your way back to the shore, miss out on the FMV, and your exam results will be negatively affected
Sub Boss – T-Rexaur
Lv : 14, HP : 15 628
Notes : weak against ice.Strong againt poison
Strategy : : T-Rexaur only uses physical attacks so cast Blind on it first. Junction Blizzard to Elem-Atk and Sleep to ST-Atk. Summon GF Shiva
Boss – Granaldo and 3x Raldo
Granaldo-Lv:11, HP:1538
Raldo – Lv:11, HP : 287
Notes: Granaldo weak against wind.
Strategy: Draw and cast Protect on party members. Use GFs to dispatch the three Raldos first then you can concentrate on Granaldo
DIABLOS
To fight this GF, you will have to use the 'Magic Lamp' that Headmaster Cid gives to you after the SeeD examination. IF you want to fight him, make sure that you SAVE BEFORE using the 'Magic Lamp' item.
In my opinion at this point of the game that Diablos might be to hard.Wait until your stronger to beat him.Like maybe about in the second disk
Summon Boss – GF Diablos
Lv:18, HP:15200
Draw : cure, demi, holy, flare
Notes:weak against wind
Strategy : Cast Blind on the first move as Diablos’s physical attacks can cause significant damage or kill you straight after he has used magic. Attacks: Demi – 1/4 damage to one member, Gravija – 3/4 damage to whole party. If your HP drops to critical when he uses these spells, execute Limit Breaks. Use Selphie’s Limit Break last to Full Cure everyone after Zell and Squall have used their Limit Breaks. Draw and stock Demi. When Diablos attacks you, you can cast your stocked Demi and he will heal you with Curaga.
FAKE PRESIDENT/ZOMBIE
The first form is not to hard to beat.Just summon Shiva once and he's gone.(Shiva is very useful for me in the beggining.The Zombie is really big on abnormal statuses.You better have loads of antidotes.Use cure magic and cure items on him.Also us fire magic and summon Ifrit a lot.This guy was really annoying because he uses silence.Well just do what I said and cure yourself(If you can.Then you should beat him
BROTHERS
Use the spell FLOAT on these guys and always try to keep them up from the ground.(They have a regen effect when they are on the ground)These guys to are weak against Shiva.Also if you have Selphie have her cast THE END if she can for a really quick battle.Once you beat them junction them to someone.
THE 2 MONSTERS
These guys have REFLECT on them.They arent to hard.Bad thing is you have to finish them off quick unless you will be petrified.Once again Shiva does the trick.(Dont start thinking Shiva is the best GF cause they are much more powerful ones later on.Also draw Carbuncle from them.
Seifer
This is a 1 on 1 fight between Seifer and Squall.Just use GF and make sure you have a good supply of hp in the end.All Seifer does is cast FIRA and attack.Seifer wont always be this easy.The last time you fight him he will be super strong nearly.
SORCERRESS EDEA
This is the big moment.Dont think Squall has to finish her off alone Irvine and Rinoa come to the rescue.Well draw from her is a suggestion of mine at 1st.Also Edea is the strongest enemy you have fought so far.Well summon Shiva again.It wont help much by casting SHELL because EDEA will just dispel it.Any spell you cast on yourself that can be DISPELLED she will dispel immediteately or in like a minute.Also use Physical attacks and limits when you can also.Unfortunately you cant kill Edea when battle is over.After the battle is over there will be a video.Edea creates an icicle and it goes through Squall.Ouch that isnt comfortable.Well congrats you just finished disk 1.If you thought it was hard just wait til next disk.

DISK 3 BOSSES
Im betting I missed half a million of bosses.
THE DRAGON
Use Shiva and Leviatha.This was brief.
THE 8 MONSTERS
Destroy the smae colored ones at first purple,yellow,blue,and red.1 has an attack that can do 1000 damage though so be really careful.Also Rinoa will have angel wings now.As her limit break well use that.
ODIN
If you choose to find and fight Odin my advice is just pummel it with your strongest spells.You may only have 10 minutes to beat it.Odin will never attack you till time is up then he finishes you off with 1 attack.So just use your best spells.Alsodraw triple and cast it then next turn have your character use ULTIMA,QUAKE,OR TORNADO 3 times.Now Odin will help you sometimes if you beat him.
Cactaur
If you choose to fight him do the same thing as with Odin.Cactaur does attack a little but not much.
RAIJIN AND FAUJIN again
These 2 are stronger then last time.Raijins limit can do up to 5000 damage and Faujins can bring your hp down to 1.Also never use wind on Faujin or lightning on Raijin.Cast Aura on yourselves and just Zells limit break can kill Raijin.Use Squalls for Faujin.Completely vure yourself for next battle
THE ROBOT
Dont bother to attack the sides they just cure themselves.Its HOMING LASER does 1000 damage and its regular attacks do around 500.Oh yeah use Lightning magic.Once the Robot switches to other mode it automatically takes your hp down to 1 right a way.Cure yourself immeditaely and just concentrate on the middle using lightning.Also the sides do loads of damage to you so always heal.They can cure themselves automatically but the middle cant.When you final beat them cure yourself for your enemy with the most hp so far is coming up.
SEIFER
Seifer is super fast now.He can do like 3-4 attacks at once.His regular attack does 500-1200 damage.His limit break is called BLOODFEST doing 1000-2000 damage to each character.His hp in my game was 32000.Well anyways cat BIO 3 times on him using triple.Also Seifer's magic is FIRAGE and FLARE.These do 700-1000 damage.Well cast Bio and Use Aura for Zells limit and Seifer will go down in the end.In the end Seifer kidnaps Rinoa and you must insert disk 4 to rescue her and destroy Ultimicia.

SORCERRESS ADEL
Sorcerress Adel has Rinoa junctioned to her.Never use GF or magic that attacks all enemys because it will hurt Rinoa.Dont use holy magic on Adel either cause it either wont hurt her or cure her.Adel can cast Ultima doing 3000-4000 damage to you.She also uses meteor.And every once in a while she will drain hp from Rinoa.Cast Shell on Rinoa and also cast Regen on her to help keep down Adel's attack.Also limit breaks arent so good unless you can find out how to just concentrate 1 on Adel.(It has to be a limit that will only hit 1 opponent.Zells may not be good sometimes because some of his attacks attack both enemys.Same with Squalls special move after Renzuzlukon.Also Rinoa's wishing star wont help you either.If you accidently do it but if it does also kill Adel Rinoa will be fine.My best advice is just keep on attacking.Once Adel is down you must travel to the future
THE SORCERRESS'S
Now you must fight loads of sorcerress's in a row non stop.If you have ultima weapons all of them except for 1 can be killed in 1 shot.They use middle level magic doing 500-1000 damage.The only really hard 1 is the last worm like 1.It always conter attacks you doing 1000 damage and it also does Ultima doing 2000 damage to you.Well anyways keep on curing everytime it cats Ultima and attack while also curing yourself shall do the trick
THE SERVANTS

ULTIMICA herself
Ah yes finally the boss of the game.This form oh her has like 42,000 hp some where near that anyways.Remember Edea's maelstrom.Well she has it now.Also she uses meltdown making Vitality 0.She can also dispel you so be careful.She also uses HOLY and flare along with high level magic.I hope you dont think this form of her is hard because the other ones can get much harder.Well anyways once you beat her she summons the most powerful GF GREIVER.Or whatever you named Squalls ring.
GREIVER
Greiver can cost TORNADO and Quake both doing 1000-2000 damage.He also uses death and doom.DOOM gives you a bunch of abnormal statuses and gives you limited tikme to live.Also GREIVER draws from you and whatever he draws he cats right a way.So if he drew full cure he would cure himself.Greiver can also blow some magic a way from you along with the rest of Ultimicias forms.Also remember the spell GRAVIJA?Well Griever has it.Once you get to a certain point in the battle Greiver will cast SHOCKWAVE PULSAR doing around 5000-6000 damage youch.Also GREIVERS regular attack does 1000 damage.GREIVER is healed by poison however.Well cure yourself after shockwave pulsar and Greiver should be more vulnerable to wind.Once Greiver is destroyed Ultimicia junctions herself to GREIVER
ULTIMICIA JUNCTIONED TO GREIVER
This 1 has a special attack when it moves fast in slow mo means it is getting ready for an attack doing 500-6000 damage.Ill finish the rest tomorrow.

FF8 disk 2 bosses.Ihavent played ff8 for like forever so Im may miss some.
BIGGS AND WEDGE again
These guys arent very happy to see you.They are more determined to win now also.Try just focusing attacks on one and magic on the other.Oh yeah always use limits also and GF.
DIABLOS
You dont have to fight DIABLOS now.But now you may be strong enough to beat him.Anyways draw demi from him and cast it also stock on demi for later battles.Draw and cast Demi on him till hes really low on hp.I must warn you always cure yourself after he casts GRAVIJA.This is a really strong attack.Once his hp is low start using GF and attacking.Once you beat him junction him.
THE 2 ROBOTS AND SOLDIER
Kill the soldier first.He is not to difficult.Then dispel the robots AURA.Oh yeah cure yourself if they cast MICRO MISSILES.GF Quezquatol and the speels thunder,thundara,and thundaga are good things to use on them.
The 2 soldiers and the Captain
Kill the cptain first then the 2 soldiers.This shouldnt even be classified as a boss battle they are really easy.
THE BIG MACHINE
You will have to beat this in a hurry.GF Quezquatol and all lighning spells should do it.You should have a hp of about 5000 now that is how much youll need for the battle as the ship can do a 2000 damage attack.Then defeat the weak soldiers afterwards.
T-REX
Use Shiva on this Shiva is really useful.Also use ice magic.T-Rex shall fall quick.
GIANT BEE again
This will be like the same BEE.Now it should fall down within a couple shots.
THE 2 MONSTERS
These guy have an oil attack that can blind your characters so they miss a lot.Use fire on these guys.Also curing is a good idea also.
SHUMI TRIBE
This guy is annoying.Just listen to what he says at beginning.I think it is red for magic although I havent played in a long time so I may be wrong.Well once you destroy his machine he is hiding in immmidetaely draw Leviatha.Now use GF on this guy and he will fall down along with the rest of his machine.Also watch out for some of his attacks.
THE BIG MACHINE again
You will fight this machine again.Just do the same thing.
RAIJIN
This guys limit hurts.He has 2 soldiers helping him.Well anyways RAIJIN isnt fond of Leviatha(Im pointing out use Leviatha).Once him and his 2 soldiers are out go into hotel.
RAIJIN AND FUIJUN
Raijin is stronger this battle and also Fuijin does have some powerful spells.1 attack does like 2000 damage.Anoher 1 of hers brings one of your characters hp to 1.Raijin's limit is like 1000 damage.Anyways dont use lightning on Raijin and dont use air on Fuijin.Also draw Pandemona from Fuijin.Anyways healing yourself is important now.Also use Zell's limit.(My favorite group was Squall,Zell,and Quistis)Now once 1 is finished off summon Shiva and Leviatha to even the odds.Also use limits.That should do it.
SQUALL FIGHTING WITH THE SOLDIER.
After Squall finds a boy and has the boy go somewhere a galbadia soldier attacks Squall on a flying thing.(This is not a battle sequence)Use the choices look for another way out then hit emergency button.Now Squall and the soldier will be hanging on a rope.(I would of liked it better if Zell was the 1 doing this)Now kick and block some attacks until you can use deathblow then use that.The soldier should fall down now.
SEIFER again
Now you fight Seifer with 3 people.Seifer is much more powerful now.Well anyways use BIO on him.He is weak against it.Also cure yourself often.
Eventually Seifer will start doing his limit break.It can hurt sometimes.Well BIO should finish him off
SEIFER again
He will have less HP now but,he is stronger now and he has more powerful magic.Just do the same thing as last time you fought Seifer.
SORCERRESS EDEA again
Edea seems to be more powerful now.She even has the spell death and her MAELSTROM takes a way half of your hp.She also uses dispel and has magic fira,thundara,and Blizzaga.Her hp on mine was 18,000 hp.Well anyways always always cure.Always use limit breaks and GF.Oh yeah in the end of my battle with her only 1 person was still standing and ther hp was in the yellow.
Cerberus
This 1 is easy self explanotory.Fight it before Edea.
EDEA is acting strange.Maybe you should insert disk 3 to see why.Also Rinoa has went into acoma.
